On April 9, 2024, while surrounded by family, Lorelei Ann "Lori" Wittig peacefully went home to Heaven at the age of 65. Lori was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of family, faith, and unwavering love.
Lori was born to James and Fay Costello on April 27, 1958. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Joseph Wittig, son Matthew (Jennifer) Wittig, daughters Erica (Daniel) Dvoratchek and Brianne (Thomas) Blodgett, and beloved grandchildren Tyler, Tallan, Jameson, Mason, Cayden, Madison, and Cooper. Lori's sisters also mourn her passing, celebrating the sister who stood as a pillar of strength and love in their lives.
Lori was raised in Williams Bay, WI, where she attended Williams Bay School and graduated in 1976. Thankfully for small town living, even though Joe had graduated already, she met the love of her life in 1976 and they had been together ever since. It was also in that small town that she made many lifelong friends, whom she remained close to through her final days. Lori found great joy in cheerleading, bowling, and watching the Brewers and Packers. Her greatest loves were God, family and friends.
Visitation services will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory located at 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn. The funeral service will commence at 1:00 pm. Following the services, the interment will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens, located on Hwy67 & Hwy50. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Susan G. Komen for the Cure (https://www.komen.org/) in Mom’s name.
