Thomas Weaver III Obituary

Thomas Burton Weaver III, beloved husband, father, and coach, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Son of the late Diane C. Campbell and Thomas B. Weaver Jr., Tom was born on October 8, 1971, at Community Memorial General Hospital in LaGrange, IL. He graduated with the class of 1990, at Our Lady of Premontre High School in Green Bay, WI, and went on to graduate from Waukesha’s Carroll College in 1994, earning a bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in human services.

Tom had a servant’s heart and spent his entire career helping others. He began this important work with Oconomowoc Residential Programs, where he met his wife of 23 years, Keri Davis. Tom also worked at North Pointe Resources, and later became the Transition Coordinator for the Johnsburg School District. Throughout his career, he advocated for children and adults with disabilities, working to help them set and reach specific goals that would contribute to an improved quality of life.

Tom and Keri were married on August 5, 2000, at Vernon Lutheran Church in Mukwonago, WI. The couple settled in Twin Lakes, WI to build their family and raise their three children. A lifelong athlete, Tom’s passion was coaching high school students in track and cross country running. He spent countless hours attending trainings and reading books that taught him how to bring out the very best in the athletes he mentored. Tom was also an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond, IL where he served on the call committee and as an assistant minister. Loved deeply by his family, friends, and community, Tom will be sorely missed. His legacy of kindness and service to others will live on through the many lives he touched over the years.

Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Keri Davis-Weaver; children, Blake K. Weaver, Ethan T. Weaver, and Eliana J. Weaver; brother, John (Nikki) Weaver; nephew, Evan Davis; nieces Delaney and Amanda Davis; nieces/goddaughters, Kitana Weaver and Caitlin Davis; parents-in-law, Kenneth and Gail Davis; and brother-in-law, Jeff (Kelly) Davis.

A memorial service will be officiated by Reverend Andy Tyrrell on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 12:00PM at Grace Lutheran Church, 6000 Broadway Rd., Richmond, IL 60071. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00AM until 12:00PM.
