Barbara J. Lake age 77 of Lyons, WI. Died October 2, 2016. She was born in England on November 3, 1938. The daughter of the late William and Margaret (Morris) Woods. On November 5, 1988 at Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot, WI. she was united in marriage to Charles Lake who preceded her in death on April 1, 2007. During her life she worked as an Emergency Room Technician at Burlington Hospital. She also worked for Silver Lake Rescue Squad and Burlington Rescue Squad. She also worked at PFI fashions doing sewing work. She enjoyed Cooking, Singing, Drawing and Painting. Her expertise in sewing came in very useful making Halloween Costumes for many family members. She also collected Lighthouses.
Barbara is survived by her three children: Steve (Sandy) Peterson of LaFarge, WI. Jackie (Sean) Cranley of Burlington, WI. and Jana Boswell of Caledonia, WI. Further survived by Grandchildren: Matthew, Breeyn (James), Ryan, Caelyn, Logan and Alex. Sister of Jennifer Raynor and Paul Raynor of England. Sister-In-Laws: Pam(David) Gyger and Sue (Kevin) Gerber. Further survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 8, 2016 at 2:00PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. Inurnment will be in Salem Mound Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until the time of services. Memorials may be made to Lyons Fire Dept P.O. Box 337 Lyons, WI. 53148 in her name.
