Cindy K. Tabor-Rogers age 55 of Elkhorn, WI, formally of the Sauk Prairie area died at home with her family.  Cindy was an inspiration to those who knew her because of her strong determination to live her time here to the fullest while displaying a positive attitude during her 20-year courageous battle with breast cancer.  Cindy was born on May 7, 1962; daughter of Terry and Barb (Curnow) Tabor.  Cindy married William Rogers in Sauk City, WI on July 18, 1987; shortly after that, the two of them moved to the Elkhorn area.  Cindy enjoyed traveling, playing golf, pickleball, taking walks, or boat rides; but most of all she was an avid Oakland Raiders Football fan, the ultimate Raiderette!  Cindy is survived by her loving  husband William; parents Terry and Barb; mother-in-law Donna Rogers;  daughters Alex (John Henry Erikson), and Sammi (Ryan Repta) Rogers; sister Jennifer (Michael) Faber; nieces, Nikki and Jessi Faber; and many others.  Cindy is preceded in death by her two grandmothers’; Shirley Barrow, and Thelma Curnow; Aunt Kay Miller and others.   A Celebration of Life Open House will take place on Saturday February 3, 2018 from 1-4PM at Evergreen Country Club N6246 US Highway 12 Elkhorn, WI.  In lieu of flowers, Cindy’s family wishes donations be made to Agrace Hospice Care 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway Madison, WI 53711 or agrace.org/donate.  “When you die, that doesn’t mean that you lose to cancer.  You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and the manner in which you live.”  Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI is assisting Cindy’s family.
