Corrine "Ivy" E. Buschman

Corrine E. “Ivy” Buschman, age 81, of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away Thursday morning, January 4, 2018 at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.

The former Corrine Eivor Samuelson was born on November 18, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Birger and Carin Samuelson.  On June 17, 1967 at the Church of the Holy Communion in Lake Geneva, WI, Ivy was united in marriage to William C. Buschman.  William preceded her in death on January 19, 1994.  Ivy lived in Cape Coral, FL and Twin Lakes, WI before moving to Lake Geneva a year ago.

Ivy was an active member of the Church of the Epiphany in Cape Coral, FL and the Church of the Holy Communion in Lake Geneva where she sang in the choir.  Ivy enjoyed sewing, cooking for her family and friends, especially making pies, embroidery, making linens for family and friends and boating.  She loved her dogs and grand dogs.  She volunteered at the hospital in Cape Coral, FL.  She formerly worked as a secretary for Fox Lake State Bank in Fox Lake, IL.

Ivy is survived by:  2 sons, Gary (Carol) Buschman of Gurnee, IL and Mark (Shannon) Buschman of Libertyville, IL; 6 grandchildren, Michael, Morgan, Carly, Abigail, Anamaria and Jack.

The Buschman Family will receive friends from 2:00PM Sunday January 7, 2018 until the time of Funeral Services at 4:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc.
