Darrel Otis Crosby

Today we are missing our loving husband and father, Darrel O. Crosby (52), who went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2018. He was born on January 1, 1966 in Shell Lake, WI, the son of Glen and Lorraine (Engebretson) Crosby. Darrel married his sweetheart, Kim Furchtenicht on November 29, 1986 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spooner, WI. He began his life work as a truck driver and was very proud of the business he owned and operated, Crosby Trucking LLC of Elkhorn. Darrel was a hardworking man who was very devoted to his family and friends. Hunting and fishing with loved ones was a very important part of his life.

Darrel is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Kim,  two children; Erika (David) Granzin of Shell Lake, WI and Mark (Jenell) Crosby of Elkhorn, WI, his parents, Glen and Lorraine Crosby of Shell Lake, WI, five siblings; Garry (Beth) Crosby of Shell Lake, WI, Glen “Gene” (Donna) Crosby of Amery, WI, Donna (Jerry) Melin of Green Bay, WI, JoAnn (Tim) Bauer of Kona, Hawaii and Kathy (Mike) Spears of Shell Lake, WI and by host of other relatives and dear friends.

Those who wish to express their love and support to the Crosby Family are welcome to visit on Monday, January 15, 2018 between 5:30 and 7:30 PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.

There will also be a visitation on Saturday January 20, 2018 at Shell Lake Full Gospel Church, 293 US Highway 63 in Shell Lake, WI, beginning at 1:00 PM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:30 PM.
