Debra J. Duros, age 62, of Antioch, IL, passed away Saturday afternoon May 13, 2017 at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva, WI surrounded by her family.
The former Debra Jill Sprecker, was born on September 9, 1954 in Waukegan, Il, the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Williams Sprecker. On August 16, 1986 in Mundelein, IL, Debra was united in marriage to Ronald D. Duros. Debra moved to Antioch, IL from Waukegan, IL in 1986.
Debra worked as a computer technician for Abbott Labs for 16 years. Debra enjoyed doing arts and crafts, painting, reading, traveling, riding horses and gardening. She especially enjoyed taking care of her boys.
Debra is survived by: her husband, Ronald; 2 sons, Anthony Richard Duros of Kenosha, WI and Nicholas George Duros of Kissimmee, FL; 1 brother, Richard (Anne) Plodzien of Mansfield, OH and 1 sister, Diane Jensen of Gurnee, IL.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Ave. Gurnee, IL with Pastor Christopher Stephens officiating. Memorial Remembrances in Debra’s name may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Genoa City is serving the Duros Family.
