Ellen “Ruth” Starck, 88 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Gardens at Ridgestone in Elkhorn, WI. She was born on September 5, 1929 in Richmond, WI, the daughter of the late James “Allen” and Florence (Snudden) Kyle. Ruth was married June 25, 1949 to Frank Starck in Darien, WI. He preceded her in death in February 20, 1997. Ruth was a very active member of First United Methodist Church and the Women’s Lioness Club. She also was an avid bowler and gardener.
Ruth is survived by her four children; Patricia (Ross) Fleming, Donald Starck, Barbara (Steve) Helsper and John Starck, daughter-in-law, Kathy Starck-Smiley, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband three children; Sandra, Edward and Richard Starck and granddaughter, Heather Starck-Smiley.
Prayer service will be 4:00 PM Saturday December 30, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.
