Emily J. Mahon, 25 of Elkhorn, WI, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born September 5, 1991 in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of Dr. David and Barbara (Stebbins) Mahon. Emily graduated from Elkhorn Area High School Class of 2010. While at school, she was involved in DECA. Emily was on the Teen Advisory Committee and the Parent-Patient Advisory Board at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, WI. She was active with the middle school ministry and the coordinator for the Blood Drive at Fox River Christian Church of Waukesha. Emily enjoyed volunteering at Tibbets Elementary School.
Emily is survived by her mother, Barbara Robers, her father, Dr. David (Amber) Mahon and three siblings; Bailey and Benjamin Mahon and Elizabeth Robers all of Elkhorn, WI, and her grandparents, Jo Stebbins of Elkhorn, WI, Thomas (Dorothy) Mahon of Byron, IL and Jean Mahon of Freeport, IL. She is further survived by a host of other family and friends. Emily was preceded in death by her grandfather, Melvin Stebbins.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Lakeland Community Church, N3181 State Road 67, Lake Geneva, WI 53147, with Pastor Josh Amstutz officiating. Immediately following the service, a Celebration of Life Reception will be at Sugar Creek Barn W5907 Pierce Road Elkhorn, WI.
