Emma Alice Watson , age 100, from East Troy, WI died on October 17, 2017 at Aurora Lakeland Health Care Center of Elkhorn, WI. Emma was born March 27, 1917 to the late Otto and Jenny (Dexter) Schubert. She was a member of the Briggs Rd. Evangelical Free Church, which was a very important part of her life. Emma was an avid golfer until she was 90 years young, playing with the Walworth County Seniors for many years. She was also a devoted Cubs Fan, taking great joy in the team's World Series win in 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, children; Janet Dunford, and Charles Watson Jr., 4 sisters and 1 brother. Emma is survived by daughters, Lorraine Ellis, Marge Dixon, Joyce (Stanley) Riley, Dorothy (Jim) Bolton, Carol (Don) Reed; and brothers, Gilbert and Otto Schubert; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Briggs Rd. Ev. Free Church, 4654 Briggs Rd., Elkhorn, WI on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:30PM, with visitation beginning at 1:30PM.
