Heaven gained another angel when Eric Yunker, age 53, a lifelong resident of Central Center, died August 25, 2017, at University Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born on December 24, 1963 in Chicago, IL, the son of Warren and Mary Helen (McDonnell) Yunker.
He is survived by his twelve Brothers and Sisters: Gail Rohde, Mark (Jean) Yunker, Kent (Janis) Yunker, Kelly (Joan) Yunker, Cathy Allchin, Teri (Rich) Fistler, Brian (Wendy Yankee) Yunker, Lisa (Rod Uhl) Danhof, Beth (Tim) Nolan, Adam (Kari) Yunker, Mari (Ken) Meyer, Kirk Yunker. Further survived by 39 Nieces and Nephews, 27 Great Nieces and Nephews and 2 Great-Great Nephews. Nephew to Connie McDonnell, Sister Francis Elizabeth McDonnell, Bernadette McDonnell-Talbott and Mary Jo (Arthur) Atkinson. Eric will also be deeply missed by the many caregivers, volunteers and staff at Central Center.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Warren and Brother-in-Law, Roy Rohde.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 15, 2017 at 11:00AM at St. John’s Catholic Church, 701 N. Lake Ave, Twin Lakes, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the time of services at the church. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the family and a charitable donation will be made in Eric’s memory. Online condolences Haaselockwoodfhs.com.
