Frank Edward Dembski

Frank E. Dembski, age 93, of the Village of Bloomfield, WI (Pell Lake), passed away Monday afternoon May 15, 2017 at the Mercy Walworth Medical Center.

Frank Edward Dembski was born on November 16, 1923 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Michael and Victoria Brotko Dembski.  On November 16, 1947 in Chicago, IL, Frank was united in marriage to LaVerne C. Rohlmann.  She preceded him in death on February 17, 1985.  On September 14, 1988 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pell Lake, Frank was united in marriage to Kathleen Lynn Regner.  Frank moved to Pell Lake in 1947 from Chicago.

Frank served as a Machinist’s Mate Third Class in the U.S. Navy from January 15, 1943 until discharge on January 23, 1946.  He received the American Theatre Ribbon, the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 1 star, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal.

Frank purchased the Mobil Station in Pell Lake in 1960 and sold it to the Monroe Family in 1973.  He was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pell Lake.  He was a member of the Bloomfield Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad for 65 years.  He was also a member of the Walworth County Firefighter’s Assoc. and the Bloomfield V.F.W. Post.

Frank is survived by:  his wife, Kathleen; 1 daughter, Debra (Kevin) Podsialik of Pell Lake, WI; 3 stepsons, Fred (Karen Sautbine) Klabunde of Pell Lake, WI, Scott (Joan) Klabunde of Genoa City, WI and Trent (Cyndi) Klabunde of Genoa City, WI; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 daughter’s, Diane Gangel and Darlene Hansen; 1 brother, Walter and 3 sisters, Bernice Kuta, Marie Scarleski and Victoria Kohnke.

The Dembski Family will receive friends from 9:00AM until Funeral Services with Military Honors at 11:00AM Friday May 19, 2017 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI.  Interment will be at 11:00AM Saturday at Bloomfield Cemetery.
