Frederick "Fred" E. Funk

Frederick E. Funk of Elkhorn, WI formerly of East Troy, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital in Waukesha, WI.  He was born November 4, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI the son of the late Daniel and Jeanne (Koch) Funk.  Fred was united in marriage to Marion Vesbach on May 6, 1972 at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Muskego, WI. He owned and operated Quality Asphalt in East Troy, WI for many years.  Fred enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing.  He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.  Fred was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Marion, four children: Nicole (Ryan) Anderson of Elkhorn, WI, Anthony Funk of West Allis, WI, Corinne (Doug) Swan of Neenah, WI and Andrea (Luis Ramirez) Funk of New Berlin, WI, eleven grandchildren: Aaris, Lily, Chloe, Ashton, Kyle, Luke, Cheyenne, Dillon, Matthew, Jazmine and Anastacia, and his two sisters: Kathy Burner and Barb (LeRoy) Yohn.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Daniel Funk.

Memorial Mass will be 12:00PM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 107 W Walworth St. Elkhorn, with Fr. Oriol Regales officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time Friday at the church.
