Gordon William Keyes

Gordon W. Keyes; 71 of County Road NN Elkhorn, WI died unexpectedly Sunday September 25, 2016 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center Elkhorn, WI.  Gordon was born December 8, 1944 in Elkhorn, WI the son of the late Mortimer G. and Mable A. (Ketchpaw) Keyes.  He graduated from Elkhorn Area High School with the Class of 1963.  He was united in marriage to Mary Kathleen Conner on September 24, 1966 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Elkhorn, WI.  For over 30 years Gordon drove semi trucks for O’Donell Trucking and LCL of Elkhorn, WI retiring in 1999.  He enjoyed farming, horses and talking politics.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Mary, his two daughters; Kristine Keyes of Elkhorn, WI and Pam (Pete) Juergens of Lake Geneva, WI, seven grandchildren; Danielle, Alex and Aaron Wales, Jacob Juergens, Josie, Ellie and Riley Longhorn, one great-grandson; Liam Wales, his siblings; Robert (Nancy) Keyes, Grace (Kenneth) Lyons and Wayne (Cheryl) Keyes and by a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by a sister Linda Hansen.  Funeral Service will be 6:00 PM Wednesday September 28, 2016 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory 730 N.
