Grace Elizabeth Fanella

Grace E. Fanella age 77 of Twin Lakes, WI died Tuesday evening December 1, 2015 at the Journey Care Hospice in Barrington, IL.

The former Grace Elizabeth Johnson was born on August 5, 1938 in Blue Island, IL, the daughter of the late Luell and Clara D. Truschka Johnson.  On January 28, 1961 in Oak Park, IL, Grace was united in marriage to Thomas Fanella.  They moved to Fox Lake/Ingleside area 45 years ago.  During those years the ran Hello Folks, Darilite and Fanella's Piazz and Pub.   Grace enjoyed sewing.

Grace is survived by: Her Husband-Thomas; 4 children-Victoria Lichter of Lindenhurst, IL, Thomas (Colleen) Fanella of Spring Grove, IL, Mary Fanella of Wauconda, IL and Timothy Fanella of Fox Lake, IL; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 6 brothers and sisters-Clarice Lumbley of Paducah, KY, William Johnson of Antioch, IL, Ronald Johnson of Valparaiso, IN, Judy Boyer of Larado, FL, Sharon Johnson of Manteno, IL and James (Karen) Johnson of New Lenox, IL.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters-Jean and Betty.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM Monday Dec. 7, 2015 at St. John’s Catholic Church 701 N. Lake Ave. Twin Lakes, WI.  Interment will be at 2:30PM at St. Benedicts Cemetery in Crestwood, IL.  The Fanella Family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI.  Memorial remembrances may be made to:  Pancreatic Cancer Foundation 1111 Stewart Ave. Bethpage, NY 11714.
