Jessie (Avery) Mann

Jessie Mann; 97 of Schmidt Road Elkhorn, WI died Sunday April 16, 2017 at her residence.  She was born March 15, 1920 in Delavan, WI the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lyda Mae (Steinberg) Avery.  She was united in marriage to Lawrence “Babe” Mann on January 27, 1938 in Elkhorn, WI.  He died November 2, 1991.  Jessie was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Elkhorn, WI, former member of Elkhorn Women’s Club, and Women’s golf league.  She was a Loving and Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be deeply missed by her three daughters: Barbara (Gerald) Nettesheim, Mary Ellsworth and Patricia Schulz all of Elkhorn, WI, daughter-in-law: Judy Mann of Elkhorn, WI, eleven grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren  and  six great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law: Peggy (William) Ludebeck of Elkhorn, WI, two nephews: Clark McKinney of Port Charlotte, FL and Raymond Avery of Fond du Lac, WI.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Babe, her son Richard “Dick” Mann, her brother Raymond and her sister: Florence.  Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 3:00 PM Friday April 21, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 107 W. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI with Father Oriol Regales officiating.  Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Elkhorn, WI.  Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Jessie’s name to: Good Action Foundation c/o of St. Patrick Catholic Church 107 W.
