Joseph Pavlak of Genoa City, WI.  entered the presence of God on May 5, 2015, after a long and couragous fight with myeloma.  Joseph was born on March 18, 1930,  married to his beloved bride Dorothy in 1957, and lived with his cherished family near the shores of Lake Benedict since 1968.  Joseph is survived by his Son and Daughter-in-law, Danny and Janet Schwabenland: Granddaughter Samantha; Brothers Ronnie(Donna), Ray and Chuck(Anja), Sister Delores Houcek; Brother in law Harold Aschenbrenner(Joan); and special neighbors Tom and Neenee Buzek.  He was preceded in death by his Father Joseph, Mother Anna, Brother Eddie, Wife Dorothy and Daughters Bonnie and Christine.  Joseph served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where his dear twin Brother, Eddie, was killed in action.  HIs devotion to the care of his wife and daughters during their illnesses leaves a lasting impression on all who observed it.  He had a long and successful career with International Harvester in Hinsdale, IL.  where he worked with his buddy Bruno Panek.  Joseph was a very special man who had a deep love for his family, friends, church and Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.  He was a man who loved reading, receiving, and believing the Word of God and sharing it with others.  He was a faithful member of the Berean Grace Church.  He will be sorely missed by all, but now very much looks forward to that glorious and eternal reunion with his brothers and sisters in the Lord at the Bema of Christ.  Thank you to our faithful and loving Lord and to the team of devoted caregivers who enabled Joseph to live his final days comfortable, safe, and secure in his temporary home on earth.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday May 15, 2015 at 6:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home of Genoa City 113 Freeman St.  Visitation will take place from 5:00PM until 6:00PM.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."  Ephesians 2: 8-10 KJV.
