Larry G. Ritchey

Larry G.  Ritchey; 70, of East Troy, WI passed away Wednesday July 26, 2017 at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Hospital Milwaukee, WI after fighting a six plus year battle against multiple Myeloma cancer.  Larry was born February 4, 1947 in Elkhorn, WI; to the late Gerald O. and Lucille E. (Annis) Ritchey.  He graduated from East Troy High School with the Class of 1965.  He then spent the summer and fall doing carpenter work with his late uncle Ray Annis.  During January of 1966, he enlisted in the US Navy for a four year tour of duty.  His last year of service was spent in DaNang, Vietnam after which he received an honorable discharge in 1969.  He spent the next 40 years working as a warehouse man in Milwaukee at a wholesale heating and air conditioning supply company.  He was united in marriage to Carla Jensen on October 12, 1985.  He had been a member of the Troy Center Fire Department (about five years); member of East Troy Snow Trojans Snowmobile Club, and member of the East Troy Lake Association.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, deer hunting, camping, biking, collecting Hallmark ornaments, and traveling to Disney World and Hawaii.  He is survived by his loving wife Carla, his sister; Sharon (Wayne Lombardo) Ritchey of Carefree, AZ, two nieces and four nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday July 30, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI.  Graveside service with Military Honors will be held 10:00 AM Monday July 31, 2017  at Evergreen Cemetery 3420 WI Hwy 20 (Town of Troy) East Troy, WI.  In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to: East Troy Food Pantry or the Salvation Army.  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
