Lillian Florence Boyer

Lillian F. Boyer, age 88, of Salem Lakes, WI, passed away Tuesday evening May 9, 2017 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.

The former Lillian Florence Fredricksen was born on August 21, 1928 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Gaberilsen Fredricksen.  On January 1, 1949, she was united in marriage to Leo F. Boyer, Jr. in Chicago, IL.  He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2005.  They lived in Chicago until moving to Salem Lakes in 1983.

Lillian formerly worked as a teacher’s aide for mentally handicapped children for the Chicago School System.  She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Silver Lake and the Norwegian-American Club.  Lillian enjoyed doing latch hook rugs, word searches, reading, coloring and ceramics.

Lillian is survived by: Her children, Carl Boyer of Silver Lake, WI, Gail Fisher of Silver Lake, WI, Russell (Diana) Boyer of Franklin Park, IL and Barbara (Ralph) Rosado) Boyer of Salem Lakes, WI; former daughter in law, Pat Draeger of Arizona; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grand.

Lillian was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Mesiano and 3 sisters, Jenny, Marie and Maria.

The Boyer family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 6:00PM Saturday May 13, 2017 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI.  A Funeral service will be held at 5:30PM at the Funeral Home.  Interment will be at 11:00AM on Monday at Memory Gardens, 2501 E.
