Marilyn Louise (McKelvey) Meiller

Marilyn L. Meiller: 80, of Lake Geneva, WI formerly of Elkhorn, WI died Saturday February 6, 2016 at Village Glen of Lake Geneva, WI.  She was born November 4, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of the late Donald James and Miriam Ruth (Anderson) McKelvey.   She was united in marriage to Donald Elmer Meiller on August 9, 1958 in West Allis, WI.  He died June 24, 1973.  Marilyn was an Elementary teacher for over 40 years retiring from East Troy Community Schools in 2000.  She was a member of the East Troy Bible Church, Awana Club Leader, member of the National and Wisconsin Education Association.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved Shelties.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by her family who include her two children; Richard Meiller of Lake Geneva, WI and Ronda (Robbie) Crum of Elkhorn, WI, four grandchildren; Laura (Thomas) Barton, Sara Meiller, Madeline (Chris Bornhuetter) Crum and Timothy Crum, five great-grandchildren: Kaylyn, Kasanndra and Kali Krogh, Julie and Tommy Barton, her five siblings, Charlotte (Lester) West of Whitewater, WI, Patricia Pittenger of Kingwood, Texas, James (Elaine) McKelvey of Ooltewah, Tennessee, John (Karin) McKelvey of Fort Atkinson, WI and Donna (Gerald) Hoffman of Mukwonago, WI and by a host of other relative and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 14 years Donald, son Rodney Meiller and a brother-in-law Clarke Pittenger.  Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday February 13, 2016 at the East Troy Bible Church 2660 North Street East Troy, WI with Pastor Ron Christiansen officiating.  Burial will be 1:30 PM at Round Prairie Cemetery Hwy 12 Town of La Grange, WI.  Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of service.  Arrangements completed by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory Elkhorn, WI.
