Mary Katherine Clark

Mary K. (Fecarotta) Clark, adored by all and deeply loved by many, departed from the physical to the heavens on May 21, 2017 at age 85. Mary was the brightest of lights with a charming spirit that overflowed with laughter, and quickly took over any room. She was fearless. In her opinions, decisions, beliefs, and Italian swear words. It made her friends wherever she went! Her favorite quote to cheers was, "Here's to you, here's to me, and if we disagree, here's to me" followed by a great big laugh. She was an avid card player, and she put bingo and her friends at Potowatomi above the rest. Mary couldn't get enough of Tom Jones, and talked about jumping on stage and kissing him in her younger years. She even had the picture to prove it!

 Mary's family was her universe, and she was ours. Her presence will be incredibly missed, and life will never the same without her Italian, spunky attitude, and bundles of love that only she knew how to give. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Tom Clark in 2007 and her beloved Mother Josephine Oliveri in 1990. Mary was survived by her 5 children: Larry (Carol) Blackwood, John (Greta) Blackwood, James Blackwood, Cathy (Michael) Applequist, and Robert (Bridgett) Blackwood, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 sister Teresa Kougias.

We graciously invite you to celebrate Mary's life, and give condolences to the family on Sunday, August 6 at the Horticultural Hall in Lake Geneva from 12:30-4. We plan to tell stories, sing her favorite songs, offer some of her favorite foods, and honor the beautiful life she lived.
