Michael J. Cassidy age 68 of Twin Lakes, WI died Sunday evening December 13, 2015 at the OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL.
Michael Joseph Cassidy was born on March 7, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Thomas and Marie Kruse Cassidy. He worked as a salesman for electronics parts. Michael moved to Twin Lakes from Park Ridge, IL in 1986.
Michael was a member of the IBEX Ski Club and the Disabled American Veteran’s. He enjoyed corvettes, snow and waterskiing, cooking, traveling and golfing. He was involved in the early years of the Aquanuts Ski Team. He was a very social man and a handyman.
Michael is survived by: His companion of 26 years-Bernadette (Bonnie); 1 sister-Colleen McGinnis of Kennilworth, IL; 1 brothers-John J. (Jill) Cassidy of Phoenix, AZ; Sister in law-Carol Cassidy of Park Ridge, IL; nieces and nephews-Laura (Phil) Chihoski, Kevin (Ann) Cassidy, Colleen (Lee) Deines, Patrick Porsche, John T. McGinnis and Brian McGinnis.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother-Thomas P. Cassidy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM Saturday Dec. 19, 2015 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Homes and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI.
