Robert Allen Frost

Robert A. “Bob” Frost "Frosty", 61 of Elkhorn, WI died unexpectedly Friday April 22, 2016 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. He was born Sept. 10, 1954, the son of the late Melvin and Etta (Brewer) Frost. Bob graduated with the Class of 1972 from East Troy High School. He enlisted and served in the US Army from 1972 until 1975. On June 21, 1974 he was united in marriage to Maureen K. Manley in East Troy, WI.

Bob worked for over 20 years with the US Post Office in Elkhorn. Since his retirement in 2000, he has directed buses at Miller Park, which allowed him to share his sense of humor with other Brewer fans. Bob also enjoyed his annual trips to Arizona to avoid the Wisconsin winters, watching sports and working both in the yard and in the kitchen. Because of his willingness to share his goodies, many people knew him as “Baker Bob.” He looked forward to exhibiting at the Walworth County Fair and surprising others with his “world-famous chocolate chip cookies.”

His greatest love was his family; he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.  He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maureen; four children, Bryan (Tara) Frost of Waterford, WI, Michael (Nadia) Frost of Waunakee, WI, Amy (Rob) Piedot of Delavan, WI and Kyle Frost of Elkhorn, WI; ten grandchildren, Cael, Brolan, Cullen, Hadley, Cardyn, Kinley, Ryland and Jayden Frost and Boyd and Declan Piedot; his mother-in-law, Betty Manley of East Troy; and many, many other relatives and friends.

Gathering of friends will be Thursday, April 28 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. service of remembrance officiated by the Rev. Gerald Petersen at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn. A memorial will be established in Bob’s name at a later date, so in lieu of flowers please direct all donations to the family at this time.
