Ronald Raymond Thomas

Ronald R. Thomas age 68 of Genoa City, WI. Died March 3, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.   He was born in Sparta, WI. On January 20, 1950.  The son of the late Bernard and Betty (Parrish) Thomas.  On July 20, 1973 in Mauston, WI. He was united in marriage to Gertrude V. Parker.   He worked for 30 years at Morton Chemical.   He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed Turkey and Deer Hunting and Fishing.   He enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers with Gert.   Ron also collected John Deere collectibles. 

Ron is survived by his wife Gertrude.  His two children: Bradley Thomas of Pell Lake, WI. and Lorie Hernandez of Janesville, WI.  Further survived by his four grandchildren: Stephan Hernandez, Michael Brenner, Shyann Thomas and Ryan Thomas.  Brother to Nancy (Denny) Jensen, Sandy (Daniel) Spooner, Larry (Dawn) Thomas, Robert (Theresa) Thomas and Sam Thomas. 

Funeral service will be held on Thursday March 8, 2018 at 5:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 113 Freeman St.  Genoa City, WI.  The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at the funeral home.    Memorials may be made in Ronald’s name to Autism Speaks http://act.autismspeaks.org/goto/raisingryan or Aurora At Home Hospice 252 McHenry St.  Burlington, WI. 53105.  Online condolences Haaselockwoodfhs.com.   The family has asked that you wear your most comfortable Blue Jeans and T-shirt to the services.
