Steven W. Erskine age 61 of Elkhorn, WI died Tuesday October 24, 2017 at his home. Steve was born December 15, 1955, son of Wesley and Lorraine (Hite) Erskine. Steve was employed at Intertractor for 32 years. He was a long time prominent member of the Lakes Area Amateur Radio Club. He was an Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America and later Scout Master of Troop 243 Elkhorn. Steve loved animals and the outdoors, enjoyed camping and hiking. Steve was a man's handy man, always working on projects on his farm, Llama Dreams. Above all, Steve was a very loving and devoted husband to Kathy for 36 years. Steve took great pride in his sons and three granddaughters. Steve is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Erskine. Steve is survived by his wife; Kathy (Sheldon) Erskine; mother Lorraine, father Wesley, and step mother Mary Erskine. His sons; Jeremy and wife Kristyn, Paul and girlfriend Chelsea Grover. Grandchildren; Amber, Sophia, and Danielle Erskine. Siblings Jon Erskine, Sarah Erskine, Rebecca and husband Rev.Robert Peiffer.
A Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday October 28, 2017 directly followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00pm at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Steve's name to the Lakes Area Amateur Radio Club in care of Scott Sears 473 E. Geneva Street Elkhorn, WI 53121.
