Victorio F. Poco, age 72, of Burlington, WI (Wheatland Township) died Thursday afternoon December 24, 2015 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
Victorio Frank Poco was born on June 30, 1943 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Frank and Josephine Vaudan Poco. Victorio served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt. 1st Class serving in Germany.
On June 2, 2002 in Woodstock, IL, Victorio was united in marriage to Karen Sherman. He has lived in Wheatland Township for the past 26 years moving from McHenry, IL. He formerly worked as a meat cutter for Jewel Foods in McHenry, IL. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church in Lake Geneva. He was a friend of Bill W. He was a sportsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a Bears fan.
Victorio is survived by: His wife-Karen; 1 son-Vittorio (Barbara) Poco of Michigan; 2 daughters-Lisa Poco of Burlington, WI and Angela (Brent Carrigan) Poco of West Palm Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren-Alex Poco, Anna Poco, Taylor Whitt, Anthony Poco, Brendan Bitton and Allison Bitton, Shelby Carrigan and Jacob Carrigan; 1 brother-William (Linda) Poco of Cary, IL.
He was preceded in death by 1 sister-Joan Boesenberg.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM Tuesday December 29, 2015 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. The Poco Family will receive friends from 4:00PM until the time of services at the Funeral Home. Memorial remembrances may be made to Aurora At Home Hospice, 103 N. Dodge St. Burlington, WI. 53105.
