Tiffany DeBrabant Obituary

Tiffany A. (Thornburgh) DeBrabant, 54, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at her home. She was born on March 27, 1969, in Anderson, IN, the beloved daughter of William Douglas and Susan (McConnell) Thornburgh.

Tiffany was united in marriage to Christopher J. DeBrabant on June 12, 1992, in Lake Geneva, WI. Tiffany and Chris resided in the Milwaukee area for a few years before relocating back to Tiffany’s hometown of Elkhorn, WI in 1995. She is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Christopher, and their three beautiful children: Christopher (Mackenzie Koch), Tyler, and Brynn DeBrabant, as well as her loving parents, William Douglas and Susan Thornburgh, her mother-in-law, Susan (Szymanski) DeBrabant, her brother, William Darrin (Dana Guanci) Thornburgh, her three sisters-in-law, Janine, Jenny, and Nicole DeBrabant, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Denis DeBrabant, in 2016.

Tiffany dedicated over 29 years of her life as a CNA at Lakeland Health Care Center, where she became a beacon of comfort and compassion for those in the Memory Care Unit. She didn’t just care for her patients, she formed deep connections with each of them, brightening their days with her infectious smile and gentle touch.

Beyond her profession, Tiffany embraced the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was spending time on the boat on Lauderdale Lakes or relaxing with her feet up in the three-season room, she found solace in the tranquility of those moments. She also had a deep love for the beach, with Florida being a favorite destination to visit her parents.

At home, Tiffany's heart belonged to her husband, Chris, and their cozy moments by the fireplace were cherished memories she held dear. She adored spending time with her dog, Berkley, whose playful antics added an extra layer of warmth to the home. Without question, Tiffany's legendary talent for cooking knew no bounds; she often spent entire days in the kitchen and found great happiness in hosting gatherings for her family and friends. Everyone always mentioned that Tiffany had a knack for transforming their family home into a festive wonderland during the holidays.

Tiffany's greatest gift of all was her radiant warmth and boundless kindness. She didn't just illuminate rooms; she illuminated lives, leaving a permanent mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. In every smile shared, every meal cooked, and every gathering hosted, Tiffany's spirit shone brightly, reminding us all of the profound impact of love and generosity. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
