Violet J. (Drochak) DiVarco

Violet J. DiVarco, 88 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at her home in Elkhorn.  She was born December 15, 1931 in Chicago, IL, the daughter to the late Michael and Helen (Kopcik) Drochak. Violet was united in marriage to Sam DiVarco Sr. on May 12, 1948 in Kahoka, MO.  He preceded her in death in June 25, 1977. Violet enjoyed volunteering at Lakeland Hospital and Aurora VNA Hospice. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Violet is survived by her four children; Dan (Mari) DiVarco of Burlington, WI, Wayne (Kerri Halsall) DiVarco of Lombard, IL, Wendy DiVarco of NM, and Sam (Maria) DiVarco Jr. of Elkhorn, WI, five grandchildren; Raum (Christine Hanson) DiVarco, Tanya DiVarco, Sam DiVarco III, Jennifer Wilkins and Julie Ann Scimeca, and seven great-grandchildren; Tyler, Raum Jr., Alexis, Mateus, Ryder, Brandon and Joe.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sam and brother, Jack Drochak.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI, officiated by Rev. Jeanne Jones.  Visitation 11:00AM until time of service Friday at funeral home. Interment will follow services at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Tibbets, WI.
