We will always remember Avery's love of life and his love for his friends and family. A dear soul has gone too soon. We will miss him. We would have been at the Memorial yesterday, but for illness here. Peace and love to the family and friends of Averell Lucy.

I am so sorry for your loss. There is no greater sorrow than to lose a loved one in death. May you find comfort in the words found at John 5:28, 29 showing God will remember our dead loved ones and bring them back to life on earth – a life without sorrow or pain or death, but instead to an everlasting life of happiness and peace (Revelation 21:3,4 & Psalms 37: 9-11, 29). I hope you can find comfort and strength in these promises. Please accept my sincere condolences.

To my son Averell H. Lucy:
Thank you for your love, and concern for me always. You still have that wonderful smile from the day you were born. I will miss you, but our blessing will be when we will be together again in heaven. Until then, rest in peace.
My love will always be with you,
Mother

We were like brothers in life, and yet there are so many things I that have come to know about you, and the lives you have touched, and the fond memories you have created.. It is clear that your Mother (my sister) inherited her nurturing spirit from your Grandmother. This was evident by all that came to know you. Peace be still for you are at rest.
