Burnell L. Walbrandt, 88 of Elkhorn, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Vintage on the Pond in Delavan, WI. He was born January 4, 1929 in Elkhorn, the son of the late Lester and Elsbeth (Piper) Walbrandt. Burnell graduated from East Troy High School Class of 1946. He was united in marriage to Jacqueline Bohmann on December 17, 1977 in Elkhorn. Burnell dairy farmed in the area for many years and also worked as a sales manager for Scharine’s Farm System for over 20 years retiring in 1994.
Burnell is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jacqueline, daughters, Susan (Richard) Kelman of Lake Geneva, Valerie Heth of Elkhorn and Cassi Hoffmann of Burlington, and two granddaughters, Monica (Andy) Schwarm of Chicago, IL and Amanda Grenzow of WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Karen Grenzow, and a sister, Claudine.
Private inurnment at White Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellow Mortals, W4632 Palmer Rd. Lake Geneva, WI, because of his true love of nature and wildlife.
