Don Houlberg will be certainly be missed by my Mother, Betty-Ellen, and I.
I remember the days of the Little Danish Tea Room and spending days at the Rivera Beach as a boy. He was fun loving, and I'm sorry I didn't see him more often

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. My condolences.
How fortunate I was to have known neighbor Don if only for a few years. His shared curiosity, downright eagerness to talk about books we shared and ponder the metaphysical over a scotch made any day shared a brighter day and me a richer man.

My condolences on Don's passing. I got to know Don up north camping and canoeing for many years at Chipmunk rapids with his old engineering friends, Sam Berg, Bob Guiler and Bob Leff. Our favorite Don story was the year I brought my new 54 caliber black powder pistol. Of course Don wanted to go with and try it out! After I shot it and reloaded for Don, when he pulled the trigger it bucked back and hit him right between the eyes- it hit him hard enough that it drew blood!! Needless to say that story was told and built upon ever year after the.
