Edward E. McCarthy, age 66, of Fort Atkinson, WI, died Sunday May 28, 2018 at Abilities Adult Family Living Home in Fort Atkinson, WI. Edward Ernest McCarthy was born on July 1, 1951 in Geneva Township, WI, the son of the late Edward N. and Doris L. Rasch McCarthy, Jr. Ed graduated from Brookwood School in Genoa City and attended Badger High School in Lake Geneva. Ed worked as a chef in Florida, Arizona and at the Abby Resort and Interlaken before becoming disabled over 20 years ago. Ed enjoyed cooking, watching TV, playing cards and was an avid NASCAR fan. Ed is survived by: 2 sons, Edward J. and Matthew McCarthy; 2 sisters, Linda Davison of Wisconsin Rapids, wI and Mary (Tim Marsden) McCarthy of Edgerton, WI and a brother, Charles (Laura) McCarthy pof Lake Geneva, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Tilford Thompson and William E. McCarthy. Private graveside services will be held at Bloomfield Cemetery. The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Genoa City is serving the McCarthy Family.
