Eric Edward Holmstrom, age 28, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly September 13, 2017. He was born in Lake Forest, Illinois on February 8, 1989. He was the son of Chris (Richards) Holmstrom and Murry Holmstrom. Eric was a drummer for the band Revival, and also played trumpet in various bands. He attended Salem United Methodist Church.
Eric loved music and loved being with his friends. He enjoyed scenic bike rides and caring for animals. He was an avid reader and a movie buff. He was a lifetime Star Wars fan, and was also known for cooking gourmet meals for his friends and family. Eric was known for his big heart and his kind and loving soul.
He is survived by his mother Chris Holmstrom, his father Murry Holmstrom, and his brother Andrew Holmstrom. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Betty Dowdal and paternal grandmother Marjorie Holmstrom.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 16, 2017 at 3:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 620 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the family and a charitable donation will be made in Eric’s memory.
