Frances M. “Midge” Tesch, age 73, of Townsend, WI and formerly of the Town of Wheatland, WI, died Monday November 20, 2017 at the Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI.
The former Frances Marie Bair was born on December 11, 1943 in Rochester,WI, the daughter of the late Volnie and Frieda York Bair. On May 30, 1986 in Wheatland, WI, Midge was united in marriage to Clarence “Mike” Tesch. They lived in the Town of Wheatland until moving to Townsend, WI 12 years ago.
Midge was a member of the Semrau-Scott Post 361 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Wilmot, WI. She enjoyed boat riding, fishing and socializing.
Midge is survived by: her husband, Mike; 2 sons, James (Danijela) Smitz of Bohners Lake, WI and Joseph (Melody) Smitz of Rochester, WI; 2 grandchildren, Charles Smitz and Tyler Smitz; 2 sisters, Marion Oldenburg of Rochester, WI and Nancy Clem of Rochester, WI.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Bair.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Friday November 24, 2017 at Rochester Cemetery Hy D in Rochester, WI.
