George W. Branfort, 70 of East Troy, WI, died Monday, May 8, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 6, 1946 in Elkhorn, WI, the son of Marshall and Fern (Cummings) Branfort. George married Sandra Newbold on July 15, 1978 in East Troy, WI. George farmed and worked in maintenance at Andes Candies for over 30 years retiring in 2012. George was an avid hunter, especially deer and turkey.
George is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sandra, three children; Marshall (Kristin) Branfort, Tammy (Antonio) Branfort and Richard (Danielle) Branfort all of East Troy, two grandchildren; William and Addison, mother, Fern Branfort of East Troy, mother-in-law, Dorothy (James) Wenzel of St. Germain, WI, three brothers-in law; Larry (Dee) Newbold of TX, Mike Maciosek of East Troy and Hugo Mikes of East Troy, and sister-in-law, Jerita Branfort of Union Center, WI. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Branfort, three brothers; John, Francis and David Branfort, two sisters; Kathleen Maciosek and Linda Branfort, and father-in-law, Harry Newbold.
Memorial service at 6:00PM on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI with Pastor Gerald Petersen officiating.
