Gerda (Junker) Zwieg

Gerda Zwieg, 66 of Burlington, WI, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.  She was born April 25, 1951 in Heilberonn, Germany, the daughter of the late Theodore and Helene (Pilli) Junker.  Gerda was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” L. Zwieg for 29 years.  She was preceded in death by Bob on February 16, 2005.  Gerda worked as Licensed Practical Nurse throughout her life.  Gerda loved spending time with her family and dog, Sansa.  She also enjoyed baking, gardening and being outdoors fishing.

She is survived by her son, Leonard (Becky) Zwieg of Burlington, WI, four step-children; Pamela (David) Kelm of East Troy, WI, Paula Zwieg of East Troy, WI, David (Vicki) Zwieg of Elkhorn, WI and Patti (Roger) Pagel of Elkhorn, WI, three grandchildren; Lincoln, Helena and Alex, six step-grandchildren; Ashley, Amanda, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Philip and Danielle, five step-great-grandchildren, and three siblings; Helga Wantchik Of Elkhorn, WI, Karl Junker of Elkhorn, WI, and Linda (Tom) Mikos of Whitewater, WI.

Memorial service will be 11:00AM on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood Funeral Home and Crematory, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be 9:00AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.  Inurnment at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
