James Lowe Wren

July 11, 1956 ~ February 15, 2018 (age 61)

James L. Wren: 61, of Davis Street Elkhorn, WI died unexpectedly Thursday February 15, 2018 at his residence.  He was born July 11, 1956 in Elkhorn, WI the son of the late Robert L. and Martha (Harris) Wren.  James graduated from Elkhorn High School with the Class of 1974.  He then attended the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and Whitewater earning a minor in religious studies.  He served in the U.S. Army from September 21, 1979 until May 20, 1981.  Over the years he was employed at Bells Store in Williams Bay, WI and Hilton Hotel of Lake Geneva, WI.  His hobby was studying world religions; He loved music and played drums, keyboard and guitar with several different bands including Perception & The Phones. James is survived by his brother: Robert (fiancée, Kelly) Wren of Milwaukee, WI and his step-brother; Dan (Wendy) Bell of Madison, WI, by several cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father James Bell.  Memorial service will be 5:00 PM Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Father Oriol Regales officiating followed by military honors.  Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until time of service.  Inurnments will be at Mt.
