Jerome "Jerry" D. Linneman

Jerome D. “Jerry” Linneman, age 60 of Genoa City, WI, (Powers Lake), died on Friday, April 13, 2018 at his home.

Jerome Donald Linneman was born on November 28, 1957 in Burlington, WI, the son of the late Clifford and Marie Koldeway Linneman.  On October 21, 1978 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Twin Lakes, Jerry was united in marriage to Joi Lynn Karow.

Jerry graduated from Burlington High School in the Class of 1976.  He lived in Salem, WI before moving to Powers Lake 21 years ago.  He has worked for the past 21 years as the head of building and grounds for Salem Grade School.  He enjoyed fishing and playing Tetris.  He was involved in 4H and was the unofficial sheep leader for the Kenosha County 4 H sheep project.  Jerry also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Jerry is survived by:  his wife, Joi; 3 sons, James (Tasha) Linneman of Round Lake, IL, Jarrett (Lindsey) Linneman of Twin Lakes, WI and Jay Linneman of Burlington, WI; 4 grandchildren, Ryen, Andrew, Charlotte and Brooke; his close siblings, Dave (Jan) Linneman, Joe (Debbie) Linneman, Larry (Shawn) Linneman and Janice (Ray) Lane; mother in law, Carol Karow of Burlington, WI; sister in law, Candi (Scott) Christensen; brothers in law, Marty (Jackie Ketterhagen) Karow, Nick Karow, Brett (Michelle) Karow and Matt (Carlene) Karow. Further survived by nephew and niece, Josh and Lauren Christensen and other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jerry’s Life Open House will be held on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Dave’s Saloon, 34500 Geneva Road, New Munster, WI.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Remembrances in Jerry’s name may be made to the Linneman Family, In care of P.O. Box 310, Twin Lakes, WI, 53181.  The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes is serving the Linneman Family.
