Joseph W.E. Riley

February 5, 1995 ~ November 16, 2018 (age 23)

Joseph W.E. Riley, age 23, of Wheatland, WI, died Friday morning, November 16, 2018 at his home.

Joseph Walter Edward Riley was born on February 5, 1995 in Paris TN, the son of Clayton Ohlrich and Jeannie Riley.  Joseph lived in South Carolina until moving to Kenosha County in 2007.  He worked as a construction laborer.

Joseph attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in New Munster.  He enjoyed music, animals, snow boarding, skate boarding and volunteering to anyone that needed help.

Joey was a free spirit who never stayed in one place too long.  He had so much love to share the he kept moving to spread his peace and positivity.  Joey known as a tree-hugging hippie with an aura about him that could calm even the darkest of souls.  He had a fierce love for nature, a knack for photography, and a deep admiration for his family and friends. He was honest to a fault and possessed an unwavering loyalty to those close to him.  He was an outdoorsy guy who enjoyed snuggling with animals and found Zen by inhaling the air of a new day.  Bonfires were his way to reach a perfect balance of nature and family.  From mountains to seas; it didn’t matter; he just loved touching new soils, smelling the flowers, swimming in new waters, and hiking new trails.  ”One Love”

Joseph is survived by:  his daughter, Lilliana Rietz, his father and stepmother, Clayton Ohlrich and Michelle Irwin; siblings, Brooke Riley, Kya Villarreal, Clayton Irwin, Leah Miller-Ohlrich and Michala Ohlrich; his stepfather, James Simonsen; his faithful dog companion, Thor and his guardian, Michelle Pembroke, nieces nephews and many friends.
