Judith "Judy" E. (Zimbrich) Nagel

Judith “Judy” E. Nagel 76, of Elkhorn, WI died Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center surrounded by her family.  She was born June 26, 1941 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Harvey and Grace (Erdmann) Zimbrich.  On June 29, 1963 she was united in marriage to Richard H. Nagel.  While she was raising her children, Judy worked as a teacher at St. James Catholic School in Mukwonago, WI.  Judy later worked as National Sales Manager for Sax Arts and Crafts for over 15 years retiring in 2004. 

Judy enjoyed golf, tending to her flower gardens, feeding and watching the birds and was an avid reader.  Her greatest love and passion was her family, especially her grandchildren and watching all of the functions and sport activities that they were involved in.    Judy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother who will be deeply missed by her husband of almost 55 years, Dick, her four children; Daniel R. (Angela) Nagel of Oconomowoc, WI, Deborah M. (John) Abunassar of Naperville, IL, Wendy N. Evans of Hartland, WI and Richard D. Nagel of Elkhorn, WI, ten grandchildren: Katie, Kelsey, Kara and C.J. Abunassar, Evie, Marina and Ellie Evans, Nikki, Jessi and Tyler Nagel, two brothers; John  “Jack” Zimbrich of Dyer, IN and James “Jim”Zimbrich of Waukesha, WI and by a host of other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday June 19, 2018 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI.  Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Wednesday June 20, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 107 W.
