Kenneth Hinzpeter age 98 of Twin Lakes, WI. Died March 24, 2018. He was born on February 5, 1920 in Twin Lakes, WI. The son of the late Frank and Mildred (Flegner) Hinzpeter. On January 13, 1951 in Waukegan, IL. he was united in marriage to Betty Kaskin who preceded him in death on June 29, 2014. Ken worked as a truck driver for 29 years. He served in the United States Army during World War II. During his life he was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Slades Corners. Ken was a charter member of the Twin Lakes American Legion Post, a Lifetime member of the Powers Lake Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing. Ken loved to make people laugh and was known for his practical jokes.
He is survived by his six children: Kenneth (Fran) Hinzpeter of Twin Lakes, WI. Richard (Barb) Hinzpeter of Twin Lakes, WI., Anna (Charles) Herman of Twin Lakes, WI., Lori (Marshall) Larose of Twin Lakes, WI., Christine (Bill Wellhausen) of Paddock Lake, WI., Keith Hinzpeter of Pell Lake, WI. Further survived by 5 Grandchildren, 7 Step Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Herbert Hinzpeter.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 31, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church 39506 60th St. Burlington(Slades Corners), WI. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at Mound Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until time of services.
