Marilyn Ann (Banasik) Boyd

Marilyn A. Boyd, 80 of Elkhorn, WI, died Thursday, October 17, 2019 at home. She was born February 15, 1939 in LaCrosse, WI, to the late Lawrence and Esther (Lee) Banasik.  Marilyn was united in marriage to James W. Boyd on August 3, 1957 in Prairie du Chien, WI.  James preceded in death on April 4, 2019. Together, they owned and operated the Millard Store for over 39 years. Marilyn enjoyed knitting and crocheting.  She was best known for her Christmas cookies.  Marilyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Marilyn is survived by her four sons; Mike (Kathy) Boyd of Elkhorn, WI, Jerry (Cori) Boyd of Burlington, WI,  David (Judy) Boyd of Whitewater, WI, and Donald (Diane) Boyd of Elkhorn, WI, seven grandchildren; Josh (Cassie) Boyd, Clint (Mindy) Boyd, Nikki (Ryan) Davis, Elizabeth (Brian) Johnson, Chris Boyd, Ben (Kristyna) Boyd and Cody (Madi) Boyd; two step-grandchildren; Amanda (Jesse) Matzke and Jason Engels, seven great-grandchildren; Hanna, Haley, Alexis, William and Marilyn Boyd, Jackson and Brynlee Davis, and one sister, Jackie (Bud) Utter of McFarland, WI.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James, brother, Dennis Chamberlin and granddaughter, Nicole Boyd.
