Mary Louise (Pfeffer) McCole

Mary Louise McCole, age 84, of Wheatland, WI died May 22, 2018 at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s Campus. She was born in Wheatland, WI on December 19, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Schnell) Pfeffer, Sr. On August 21, 1953, in Oak Park, IL she was united in marriage to Richard McCole who preceded her in death on February 17, 2011.

During her life she was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in New Munster, WI. Mary enjoyed her Canasta Club, baking, traveling and bird-watching. Mary was very patriotic and was a shareholder of the Green Bay Packers. She was known for her generous spirit and her gift of hospitality. Her greatest joy came from spending time with all of her family.

She is survived by her eight children:  Mary (Jonathan) Ostman, Joe (Patti) McCole, Rosie (Bob) Collins, Pat (Mary) McCole, Lynnette Samuel, Dorothy (Bill) Sands, Dianne (Tim) Mowery and John McCole. She is further survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mary is sister to Patricia Watkins, Barbara Stevens, Rosalyn (Wayne) Bard and Rosalie Johann. She was preceded in death by her son Michael McCole, grandsons Kenneth Samuel III and Richard Samuel, brothers Eugene Pfeffer, Joseph Pfeffer, Jr. and Robert Pfeffer, and sister Dorothy Pfeffer and twin sister Marge Cronin.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 10:00AM, at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home in Twin Lakes, WI. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 9:00AM until 10:00AM.
