Nicholas Daniel Sergi

Nicholas Daniel Sergi, 28 of Elkhorn, WI died Saturday October 27, 2018 due to injuries from an accident.  He was born March 28, 1990 in Bloomingdale, IL.  He was the son of Dominic M. and JoAnn M. (Pontarelli) Sergi.  He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  He owned and operated Sergi Farms LLC in Elkhorn, WI.

Nicholas was a man that was full of life and always had a smile that would light up the room. He accomplished so much at a young age and had many interests that became life-long passions,  such as farming and ranching, faith and prayer, snowmobiling, hunting, dogs, guns, America, Chevy diesel trucks, big belt buckles, cowboy boots and skinny jeans, Bulleit Bourbon, cheap beer, ATV’s, motorcycles or anything that has a motor, gorgeous women, long walks on the beach, great novels, and road trips with his dog; but his greatest joy was his friends and family.

Nicholas is survived by his parents Dominic and JoAnn, Brothers; Dominic (Lauren) Sergi, Joseph (Jennifer Blackburn) Sergi and William (Julie) Sutila, two nephews: Dominic Aiden Sergi and Declan Blackburn, grandmother Marlene Pontarelli, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, additional relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carmen and Julie Sergi and Vito Pontarelli.

A Private Family Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Elkhorn, WI and inurnment at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the Town of Delavan, WI.

A Celebration of Life for Nicholas will be held for all family and friends on Saturday, November 17th from 12-3pm at the Rosewood in Delavan, WI (2484 County Rd O South, Delavan, WI 53115).  Light appetizers and beverages will be provided.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Nicholas (Nick) D. Sergi Foundation (www.gofundme.com/nicksergifoundation), so your generosity can be allocated to causes near and dear to Nicholas' heart.
