Peter G. Sullivan, 77 of Lauderdale Lakes died peacefully Wednesday July 27, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born October 14, 1938 in Chicago, IL he was the son of the late George P. and Helen L. (Taucke) Sullivan. Peter served in the U.S. Navy. On November 3, 1972 in Des Moines, Iowa he was united in marriage to his beloved wife Lana. She died August 11, 2012. They worked together in sales and marketing in resort time shares. Peter was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him. He is survived by his children; George Peter (Lynn) Sullivan II of Grand Rapids, MI, Margaret Annie (Larry) Sullivan Chandler of Collierville, TN, Kathleen Amy Sullivan of Grandbury, TX and Jill Sullivan Chaze of Metairie, LA. Five grandchildren; Emily Elizabeth Sullivan, Courtney Paige Chandler, Lauren Rae Sams, Brooke Eddington Sams and Nathan Michael Vicknair, one great-grandson; Adahy Rowan Bitner, two sisters; Dorothy (Allen Hermansen) Sullivan of Los Angeles, CA and Mary Keierleber of Delafield, WI, three brothers; Charles (Kathy) Sullivan, Kevin (Kristy) Sullivan and James (Kelly) Sullivan all of Elkhorn, WI and by a host of other relatives and friends. Peter was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a brother Patrick. Memorial Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 4:00 PM Tuesday August 2, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 107 W. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI with Father Oriol Regales officiating. Inurnment will be at Hazel Ridge Cemetery Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be Tuesday 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.
