Phillip B. Olson age 88 passed away peacefully on December 20, 2018 at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in King, WI. He was born on December 17, 1930 in Amherst Jct. WI. The son of the late Ottis and Myrtle ( Williamson ) Olson. On June 30, 1956 in Waupaca, WI he was united in marriage to Caroline Nowak who preceded him in death. He served in the United States Army in Korea from 1952 until 1954. He drove truck for over 25 years and was with the Teamsters Union. He retired in 1984 and loved woodworking at home. He loved fishing and working on cars. He was also a die hard Packer fan and loved NASCAR racing. During his life he was a member of the Silver Lake American Legion Post 141.
He is survived by his four children: Suzan (Jeffery) Shaw, Lyndon Station, Wi, Scott Olson, Holmen, Wi, Stuart (Roxanne) Olson, Burlington, Wi and Sam Olson, Burlington,Wi. and a son-in-law Larry Kosirog, Pardeville, Wi. Further survived by 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Phillip was preceded in death by his son Steven Olson, daughter Sandra Kosirog and grandson Jason Tolle.
Services will be at 12:00PM on April 6, 2019 at the Haase Lockwood Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 at the time of service.
