To Richard's family,
My deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Rich. I knew Rich for a little over a year online. We supported each other through hard times and enjoyed the good times. I will not forget our times together and he will always be in my heart. I have added to my Secondlife profile in honor of Shade his character on Secondlife: "Shade, I love you hunni. Will never forget when you landed in my skybox and said "Yo!". You and I had some great times together and I still cant believe you are gone. I will miss you terribly and our deep conversations about things we hate-lol, I will miss Batman coming to the rescue, I will miss talking sh*t about randoms, I will miss sim/house jumping, cuddling up and watching Blazing Saddles, youtube, family guy or anime". You will be missed Richie.

Sending love and prayers to the family, especially the parents.
I knew both of them very briefly since live above the Beach Bar but I myself lost my 14 yr old daughter a little over a year ago so I know the emotion and pain you are feeling.
I was also happy to see the boys were put to rest right near my baby girl. (Nicole Lootans) in St Als cemetary.
Im sending my sincere condolences to you during this very confusing sad time.
God bless you all and may Richard and Kenneth rest in peace.

My heart goes out to Richards family. I knew him as Shade, in Second Life. Getting to know him, going on adventures together and finding different experiences in virtual platforms with him, are things that I will always treasure and never forget. Through good times and bad, at the end of the day, Shade would always be there if I needed him, he was like family to me. I consider myself very lucky to have known him and will miss him so very much. He was so fun to be around, often ready to make people smile or provoke a reaction in ways only he could. He was loved by many and his absence is deafening. There will never be another like him. I wish his family strength and send you my love.

Never is it easy to hear about a former student taken from us all too early. Richard was one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of teaching. Not only was he intelligent, but he was respectful. Our friendship didn't end when he graduated as we had several great conversations over the past years. I will miss your smile and warm greeting. God speed to all.

Hi,
My name is Jacco, Ive known Richard for years through Second life. We used to build stuff on second life and hang out with friends for years. I think almost a decade now. I am devastated by the news and my sincere condolences and my love for you all. We used to chat alot with a group and do games together and support each other when we needed it. He was one of my closest brothers on second life and I will never forget him. He has made a huge difference in my life and I love him like a brother. I have a photo of him together as our game characters which i can send if you like to have it. I know its silly but thats what he used to be like. Funny silly and always ready to make us laugh. I am so incredible sorry that this has happened. If you wish to talk, im always open for conversation. Thank you and all the strength and love for you in this hard time.
Know that he really was loved in our gaming community. Thank you.
Jacco

Hi,
I'm sending this to you without an email at the moment, because I'm not sure if the email will post...it says it won't, but want to be sure. Thank you so much for your beautiful post--Richard was a very sweet man (boy in my mind) and I know he tried to help everyone.
Thanks again for the post--Lynn Samuel
