Robert "Bob" L. Royce

Robert “Bob” L. Royce: 70, of Elkhorn, WI died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center Elkhorn, WI.  He was born November 14, 1948 in Antigo, WI the son of the late William and Marian (Kondzela) Royce.  He was united in marriage to Paula A. Dwyer on July 29, 1967 in Round Lake, IL.  Bob worked in diecast and plating at Johnson Motors of Waukegan, IL for 15 years and then in shipping and receiving for almost ten years with American Florescent Lighting of Gurnee, IL before retiring early due to injury.  He enjoyed playing recreational softball at the Bull Pen in his early years and coaching Bulldog football and Lady Greenman softball in his 40s.  He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and he loved family Bear/Packer parties and deer hunting with his family in northern Wisconsin.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Paula, his two children: Robert (Amy) Royce Jr. of Lake Villa, IL and Jennifer Baumann of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, five grandchildren: Anthony Royce, Samantha Homeyer, Daniel Royce, Michael Baumann and Kayleigh Royce, five great-grandchildren: Mary Jane, Alistair, Nevaeh, Joshua and Sawyer, and by his siblings: William (Judy) Royce of Kenosha, WI, Patricia Reid of Richmond, MI, Susan (Jim) Pogue of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Daniel Royce of Kenosha, WI and by a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.  Arrangements completed by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory Elkhorn, WI.
