Shirley Kay DeWire

Shirley “Kay” DeWire age 82 of Elkhorn, WI died at home on June 16, 2018 surrounded by her family.  Kay was born on January 21, 1936, daughter of the late Edith O. Ellis and Scott Ellis. Kay was married to Michael J. DeWire on April 5, 1975 until the time of his passing in December 1985.  Kay had many interests and talents such as art, playing piano, gardening, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her grandkids.  She also loved animals, and was a fan of Neil Diamond, and Everybody Loves Raymond.  Kay is preceded in death by her mother, Edith; Husband, Michael; and Son, Ted.  She is survived by her children; Teresa (Wolfgang) Neumeier of Island Lake, IL, Tim DeWire of Des Moines, IA, Trina Irving of Clive, IA, Tracy (Michael) Steffen of Des Moines, IA, Thomas DeWire of South Chicago, IL, Taisha (Tony) Persico of Fox Lake, IL, and Megan (Kenneth) Lamster of Elkhorn, WI; Grandchildren; Nicholas and Michael Neumeier, Samantha Guigli, Cassandra Foxx, and Noah, Kaylin, and Avery Lamster; Great Grandchild; Grayson Foxx; and a Sibling; Sandra (Jerry) Cory of Des Moines, IA.  Prayers and Committal Services will be held on Friday June 22, 2018 at Windridge Memorial Park 7014 S.
