Theresa Anita Schrayer

Theresa A. Schrayer, age 101, of the Village of Bloomfield, WI (Pell Lake) died Sunday afternoon Nov. 19, 2017 at her home.

The former Theresa Anita Tipitino was born on December 16, 1915 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Frank and Christina Lauletta Tipitino.  On February 12, 1938 at St. George’s Catholic Church in Chicago, IL, Theresa was united in marriage to George Stanley Schrayer.  He preceded her in death on November 25, 1992.  They bought their summer home in Pell Lake in 1964 and moved permanently from Chicago in 1976.  She formerly worked as a clerk for Friedman's Store on Clark St. in Chicago, IL.

Theresa was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pell Lake.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Richmond, IL since 2008.  Her family was very important to her.

Theresa is survived by:  her daughter, Dorothy (Edward) Kosowski of Pell Lake, WI; her beloved Beagle, Millie; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: a daughter, Christina Gill in 2008, a son George, Jr. in 2016 and 3 brothers, Joseph, Nicholas and Anthony.   

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 12:00PM Saturday Nov. 25, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Richmond, IL.  Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 11:30AM Saturday at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc.
